Christmas is without a doubt my favourite time of year but this year, after the year we’ve all had, it feels that little bit more special. Nationwide, trees and decorations are going up early with more sparkle than ever.

Admittedly, we haven’t put our tree up yet. I am incredibly jealous every time I pass a window showcasing a sparkling tree in all its glory. I cannot wait to finally get ours this weekend!

Over the years I have collected lots of decorations, all different shapes and sizes, all with different meanings and sentiments. This year I want to buy an extra special decoration, something to put the light back into 2020.

“Put the light back into 2020.”

Colour Changing Lights

After searching high and low I found some beautiful lights @Inlehome that I’ve absolutely fallen in love with! ‘Colour Changing Cluster Lights’ are a game-changer. Not only do they look sensational but they’re multi-functional too. They switch from warm white, to pastel shades to vibrant colours so you can change them to suit your mood or style.

You can wrap them around your tree, pop them on your fireplace, scrunch them into a glass vase or even wrap them around your fence outside, (they’re exterior use too).

Wherever you choose to use them I can guarantee they will add style, sparkle and substance to any space. I can not recommend them more, these are a must-have.

“You don’t have to pack them away after Christmas”

Starburst

Another gorgeous piece I found from @inlehome is a simple, understated ‘Festive Tree’ covered in 80 warm LED lights. Standing 40cm high it will work perfectly on your coffee table of shelf adding that subtle glimmer of sparkle. This is actually one of my favourite pieces.

Also the famous ‘Starburst Lights’ (which have featured in a previous blog) work perfectly during the festive period. They radiate sparkle! The best bit about these beauties is that you don’t have to pack them away after Christmas, they are great all year round!

“Appreciating the small things can make a big difference.”

Whatever you are up to this Christmas, take a moment to take in the beauty around you. Whether that be your tree, your neighbour’s tree, your local light display, a shop window, your decorations or a gift a friend has beautifully wrapped, take it in.  Appreciating the small things can make a big difference.

Lets end the year in style.

Wishing everyone a happy Christmas and a brighter new year xxx
